Bmw Soft Close Doors Not Working

It worked properly for 2 days now the door wont stay closed again.

Ok i have searched and maybe i am just bad at it but has anyone had problems with their soft close feature. This happened 2 days ago and i had to drive to a bmw mechanic holding the door driving down the highway. No matter what i try the soft close feature doesn t work. Notice the gentle push of the driver advantages bmw s soft close was initially installed on the 2002 7 series which seems just about right given.

Issue with drivers side soft close door. The door closes if it is slammed shut but i would like to utilize this. The soft touch close door on my bmw 750li is not working. The door will not close.

Not sure what it could be. I have my front passenger door not really performing properly. Short clip showing the soft close doors in action. It has to actually be closed like a normal door for the feature to make the noise like it is working.

All other doors work properly. In this situation it sits there and the motor sounds as if it is trying to close but nothing happens it just grinds for about 10 seconds then stops trying with the door still sitting on the latch but not closed. He says he reset some codes and then told me to spray it with wd40.
